I'm not too thrilled with packaged food these days but sometimes I still get in the mood for something other than leafy greens. I have a monstrous supply of oatmeal in the cupboard so I am finding all kinds of alternate uses for oatmeal. I plan on grinding up some in the blender and using it as flour in the bread maker later on this week. Today’s use of the oatmeal was pretty conventional.
§ 1.5 cups oats
§ 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
§ 3/4 cup crasins
§ 1 tsp cinnamon
§ 1 tsp kosher salt
§ 1.25 cups soy milk
§ 1 tbs flax seed
§ 3 tbs water
§ 1 tsp vanilla
1. Preheat oven to 350*
2. Combine ingredients
3. Bake 40 minutes
4. Enjoy
