This is a great breakfast idea from Dr. Fuhrman. When I make it I skip the date sugar. Instead of buying processed applesauce I cored and cooked an apple with the skin on and tossed it in the blender.
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon date sugar (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°F
Bake for 30 minutes.
